How to BUY?

  • Join the Community:
    Click on the “Be A Member” page at the top right corner.
    Choose “Be a Buyer on Chatter’s Lux” to create your buyer account. (You can upgrade to a seller account anytime.)

  • Set Up Your Account:

  • Complete the required details for your new account. (Note: Usernames are permanent and can’t be changed after account creation.)
    Verify your email, and you’re ready to start exploring!

  • Start Shopping:
    Use the search bar, Buy page, or filter options to find the products you want.
    Add your chosen items to the cart.

  • Request Authentication:
    Click “Authenticate this item” if you’d like Chatter’s Lux to authenticate the product using AI technology. 
    An additional 100 AED will be added for authentication at the final checkout. 
    If the product is found to be not genuine, the 100 AED will be fully refunded, minus any applicable bank fees.

  • Checkout:
    Enter your shipping details and choose a payment method.
    After completing your order, you’ll receive an SMS/E-mail notification and can track your order in the “My Orders” page.

How to SELL?

  • Join as a Seller:
    Go to the “Be A Member” page at the top right corner.
    Select “Be a Seller on Chatter’s Lux” to set up your seller account. (Note: Shop names cannot be changed once registered.)

    1. N – New: In pristine, unused condition identical to a brand-new item, only unboxed with no signs of use.
    2. S – Display Model: Virtually unused, only tried on, with minimal or no visible signs of wear. This grade is close to N but may be missing some original accessories or packaging.
    3. A – Excellent: Well-maintained and stored with minimal signs of wear, showing only small scratches or slight wear from careful use.
    4. B – Good: Noticeable wear is visible, including corner scuffs, scratches, and signs of regular use.
    5. C – Vintage: Clearly shows wear, including visible stains, discoloration, or shape deformation.

    1. 1. High-Quality Images: Use a high-resolution camera to capture clear, sharp images. Avoid blurry or pixelated photos, as these reduce trust and can make details hard to see.

      • Brand Logos and Serial Numbers: Clearly photograph any brand logos, authenticity tags, and serial numbers to help buyers verify the item’s authenticity.
      • Condition Close-Ups: Highlight any visible signs of wear, such as minor scratches, scuffs, or discolorations. Honest close-ups build buyer trust.
      • Corners and Edges: For bags or shoes, show the condition of edges and corners, as these areas often reveal usage.
      • Interior and Hardware: Open bags or cases and capture the interior condition. Include close-ups of metal hardware, zippers, and buttons, as these are important to luxury buyers.
      • Unique Design Features: Showcase any special elements like unique stitching, engravings, or limited-edition details that add value to the item.
    3. 3. Good Lighting: Natural daylight is ideal for capturing true colors and textures. Avoid using flash, which can cause reflections and alter colors. Soft, even lighting will help the item look its best.
    4. 4. Neutral Background: Use a clean, neutral background that doesn’t distract from the item. A simple white or light-colored background works well to make the item stand out.
    5. 5. Consistent Angles: Take shots from multiple angles—front, back, sides, and top-down—to give buyers a complete view. Consistent angles across different products create a professional look.

  • Set Up Payments:
    Add your bank account details to receive payments.

  • Manage Orders and Shipping:
    Once an order is placed, Chatter’s Lux will arrange the delivery service.
    Please package the item securely and attach the airway bill provided by Chatter’s Lux.
    If authentication reveals the product is not genuine, it will be returned, and the seller will cover the authentication and shipping fee.

  • Receive Payment:
    If no refund is requested within 3 business days after delivery, the purchase is confirmed. Payment, minus a service fee and bank fees, will be deposited into your account.
    – For Cash Payments: Settled within 1-2 business days.
    – For Card Payments: Settled within up to 7 days.
    1. A commission of 10% will be deducted from the sale price of all sold products. This fee includes all relevant costs such as shipping fees, credit/debit card processing fees, and other associated charges except for the seller’s bank charges if applicable. The commission is automatically deducted once the sale is completed, and the remaining amount will be settled to the sellers by means of bank transfer.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For security purposes, once your account is created, your Username and Email cannot be changed.

    If you wish to change your Account Password or Phone Number, a verification email will be sent to your registered email, allowing you to update your Password or Phone Number.

    1. All products on Chatter’s Lux are uploaded directly by sellers, so the availability of an authentication card or certificate may vary from product to product.

      Chatter’s Lux offers an optional paid authentication service for products from major brands, allowing you to verify their authenticity.

      At checkout, simply select the “Authenticate this product” option, and our team will verify the product’s authenticity and issue an authentication card or certificate.

      The authentication process typically takes 1-2 days and costs 100 AED. Please note that Hermès Premium items and certain high-end brands are not included in this service and will be billed separately.

      If you decide not to proceed with your purchase after the authentication service, please be aware that the authentication fee is non-refundable regardless of the result.

    1. Once you place your order, delivery is expected within 2-3 business days if the item is within the UAE. For items shipped from other countries, the delivery period may vary.

      If you have requested the Authentication Service for the product, delivery may take an additional 1-2 days.

      You can check the status of your order under “My Orders” on your “My Account” page.

    2. For products shipping from overseas, please note that, due to the nature of the secondary market, items may be sold out quickly, resulting in no stock availability. Before making a payment, we strongly advise you to confirm availability by inquiring through the Q&A section on the product page. In some cases, stock may unexpectedly become unavailable even after payment has been completed. In such instances, we will take immediate action to ensure you receive a prompt refund.
    1. To ensure the safety of e-commerce transactions, the seller will be paid only after the product is fully delivered and confirmed by the buyer, following the buyer’s payment being held by Chatter’s Lux.

      Direct transactions between the seller and buyer that bypass Chatter’s Lux’s trading protection are strictly prohibited. Sellers who engage in such transactions will be reported and restricted from selling on the Chatter’s Lux platform.

      Chatter’s Lux Commission: 18% of the sales price.

    1. Once an order is placed and the shipping process has begun, cancellation is not allowed. However, a refund can be requested within 3 days of receiving the item.

      If you change your mind and wish to cancel your purchase, you can select “Cancel Order” in your “My Account” page.

      Return Policy:

      • Buyers may return any product within 3 days of the receiving date without providing a reason (Return fees are paid by the buyer).
      • If the product is defective or differs from the seller’s listing, buyers may return the product within 3 days of receiving it. In this case, the return fee is covered by the seller (proof of defect is required).

      Return Exceptions:

      • Returns are not accepted if the purchase is confirmed by the buyer or if more than 3 days have passed since receiving the product.
      • If the product has been damaged due to the buyer’s actions.
      • If the product’s value has significantly diminished due to use by the buyer.

      Refund Process:

      • If you purchased the item using a debit card or bank transfer, the refund will be processed on the same day or the next day once the product is returned to the seller and its condition is confirmed. For credit card purchases, refunds may take 5 to 7 business days.
